In the world today, people are way more advanced and skilled than what one previously used to be.
We can be a poet/writer and have a lot more skills than just that as a way to earn income. I am a poet and I am earning income sure, be it as meager, but thanks to technology I don't haven't had to go around selling, knocking, advertising at each doorstep because it's available online for anyone to buy.
I am editor, graphic designer and whatever and it can be my source of income as well, I can be a YouTuber, work hard and start earning there as well, poetic elites of that age may have recognition and respect, they still do in their own respective circles.
What's changed is that work has become life and life is work, rather than working in life and having time for something else. This world is running a race for the survival of the fittest, and this time it doesn't matter if you are a poet, YouTuber, désigner, business man, if you can survive the adversities and still rise, then you are a winner, yiu are a respectable man.

In this world, skills may matter, but what takes us forward is not our skills, its our determination, our passion, our ability to endure and resilience, our emotional intelligence and creativity to find solutions through everything and keep moving forward.
The world no longer, like before, looks to congratulate or make a victory of your personal successes, everyone is fighting a race of such divergence in skills, it's impossible to spotlight each other. Hence, we need persistence, patience, dedication, determination to keep moving forward, it'll take great effort to be recognised, and it's not at all easy, because we are advanced, our skills are advanced, each person can equip hundreds of skills and still not be recognised.
My question is, is it worth being recognised? Or shall you rather silently achieve and be self satisfied with all that you do, because it was genuinely what you wanted to do? For all you know in your quest to do them all, you actually get recognised. You never know.
