Happy Independence Day Nigeria 🇳🇬

 

From the Wails to Hails,

From the bonds and yorks,

Pain of slavery to victory,

And now it's a ceremony.

Sleepless nights in the forests,

Fighting for our own Independence,

Protecting and fighting what rightfully belongs to us,

We are now enjoying the struggle for peace.

Long lived the Nigerian freedom fighters,

Men and women who sacrificed their lives,

To uproot the dictators who took our wealth,

Leaving us nothing to sustain our health.

My beautiful country Nigeria,

I'm happy in this regalia,

Being called independent nation,

Free from mental slavery and abomination.
